Description:
To celebrate New Year's Eve 2011, someone commits a horrific act: dressing as a nun and brutally dismembering an elderly woman. Detective Arribas, a solitary and physically marked investigator, is assigned to the case. His investigation leads him to Dr. Werner, who recounts the story of "The Beautiful Otero," a former model who underwent a remarkable transformation from being considered the ugliest woman in the world. Now, Arribas finds himself increasingly drawn to his prime suspect, who, driven by a troubled past, is plotting revenge by sabotaging the Miss Spain beauty pageant, leaving a trail of dead contestants. This is a stylish science fiction thriller with a darkly unsettling conclusion.
