Mishio (Maho Tomita) has been raised with the belief that she will turn into a human predator after her twentieth birthday, a prophecy instilled by her mother. They live together at a deserted summer resort, where her mother cares for the property. One night, a man (Satoshi Nikaido) breaks in. He claims to be Mishio's father and insists that her mother's predictions are false, and Mishio has no animal blood in her.
