Tong Song, the founder of Paradox Security and a man who uses a wheelchair, leads a small team. His colleagues are An Ning, a mechanical genius, and Da Niu, a man of few words but remarkable skills. The company provides bodyguard services to protect clients and their possessions. They accept a three-day, anonymous job: protecting An Ning's sister, An Yi. Soon after, An Yi begins experiencing a series of suspicious accidents. Tong Song believes these incidents are not random and discovers evidence suggesting a sophisticated organization capable of staging accidents as murders. Suddenly, An Yi vanishes.
