Frankenstein (2023)

FRANKENSTEIN, with music, book, and lyrics by Eric B. Sirota, is a romantic musical inspired by Mary Shelley’s iconic novel. First published in 1818, Shelley's Frankenstein is reimagined here as a modern musical. Victor Frankenstein, grieving the loss of his mother, strives to conquer death but oversteps boundaries. While he receives love from Elizabeth, he withholds it from his creation. The Off-Broadway production of Sirota’s FRANKENSTEIN premiered in 2017 and enjoyed nearly three years of success at St. Luke's Theatre in New York City. This filmed version is a new blend of a recorded stage performance and a movie musical.
