In the spring of 2004, Massachusetts was on the verge of legalizing same-sex marriage. This documentary follows several local couples and their families during the months leading up to and immediately following this pivotal moment in LGBTQ+ history, as they prepare for their weddings. It also includes interviews with those who actively opposed the movement, and ultimately failed to stop it. The film premiered at the Independent Film Festival of Boston in April 2005, just a month before the one-year anniversary of the decision.
