Description:
In A Tale of Archery, a young and timid archer named Kazuma (Akitake Kôno) aims to surpass the record of Hoshino Kanzaemon, a shadowy figure linked to the death of Kazuma’s father. Gifted with natural talent but plagued by cowardice, Kazuma hides away in an inn run by the kind Okinu (Kinuyo Tanaka), avoiding any conflict. When someone tries to kill him, a samurai named Karatsu Kanbei (Kazuo Hasegawa) intervenes, offering to train Kazuma. However, it soon becomes apparent that this helpful stranger may have his own hidden agenda.
