Lee Ritenour : Overtime (2005)

Lee Ritenour is a highly acclaimed jazz guitarist who began his career as a session musician with artists like The Mamas & The Papas, Tony Bennett, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, and Dizzy Gillespie. Since 1976, he has enjoyed a successful solo career, releasing over 30 albums. *Overtime*, filmed in high definition at Enterprise Studios in Burbank before a small audience, is a career retrospective featuring Ritenour accompanied by many of his past collaborators. The concert is divided into four sections: acoustic jazz, Brazilian music, his early fusion work, and popular tracks from his later albums. Interviews with those who have worked with him are woven throughout the performance.
