The Devil’s Water (2006)

In Bangladesh, 49 million people are exposed to arsenic in their drinking water. Often ignored and left without support, these individuals suffer and die in their communities with little attention. This film uses the stories of Asma and Najma, two young girls affected by the contamination, and Jamal, a scientist working to combat it, to raise awareness about this issue. It aims to provide vital information to those at risk and protect the future of Bangladesh, as similar problems could emerge elsewhere.
