Matthias receives an expensive gift from his girlfriend: a weekend self-discovery course called "My Value on Earth," designed to help him overcome his habit of never finishing what he starts. Just before he leaves, she reveals he's going to be a father. Now, he hopes to use the weekend – a trip he doesn’t really want to take – to grapple with these new responsibilities.
