Eriko returns to the countryside after a disappointing attempt at becoming an actress in Tokyo. On her way home from a farewell party, she encounters Naoya, an office worker nursing a heartbreak. Initially hesitant, Eriko flees, but Naoya follows with flowers she left behind. They end up talking in the park, and their connection deepens, leading to a spontaneous night together. The next morning, after an intimate encounter, Naoya desperately asks for her number. Eriko gives her home number, unaware he's about to discover she's leaving for good. He later tries to reach her but finds her number disconnected, leaving him wondering if he was given a false one.
