What appear to be tracking shots are actually long, 360-degree pans that explore spaces like a labyrinth, one that feels subtly unsettling because its endless scope prevents escape. Using the panopticon as a central idea, Dahlberg explores how this surveillance model reflects self-examination and vulnerability to being watched. The camera's complete rotation can be seen as a paranoid attempt to watch for threats.
