Tenri's wedding preparations were filled with joy until the arrival of Mappacci. She faints upon hearing that the ship carrying Iwan, her fiancé, has sunk en route home. Her marriage to Yasinan is affected, and Tenri falls into a deep depression, nearly costing her life. Her mother pleads with her not to give up.
