The story unfolds through a group of determined women who formed an organization in the summer of 2020 to drive change. Merline Saintil, a former Tech COO, and Robin Washington, a former CFO, were prominent figures in corporate boardrooms. During a casual phone conversation, they sparked an extraordinary idea: to establish an organization dedicated to increasing opportunities for Black women on corporate boards. That moment marked the birth of Black Women on Boards, now a global organization with over 200 members.
