Verirrte Eskimos (2003)

A man who appears deaf and mute travels the countryside, working odd jobs and selling dance cards. He encounters a woman who uses anonymous phone sex to avoid intimacy. The pair experience a complicated connection, drawn to and pushed away by each other, engaging in deception and longing. They perform traditional dances on the cold ground, struggle for affection, and share a goldfish that frequently escapes its bowl.
