Permission Streak (2016)

Permission Streak begins with the question, "Can you tell the difference between a camera and a camera?" The film unfolds in a unique theater space that blends elements of gymnastics and swimming facilities, rapidly shifting between seemingly unrelated scenes. These scenes emphasize the possibility of confusion or trickery in everyday situations. Characters engage in activities that appear to be about community involvement, but are constantly undermined by the fear of being rejected, and an underlying feeling of unease pervades the entire movie.
