Description:
This is the first of a six-part series. The W.R.C., Japan's most powerful yakuza conglomerate, is thrown into turmoil following the sudden death of its Chairman in a traffic accident. Tadano (Kazuki Namioka), secretary to the Vice-Chair Konno (Masahiro Noguchi) and the sole survivor of the crash, is plagued by disturbing memories. His close friend and fellow Board Director, Umehara (Hitoshi Ozawa), who is of Zainichi Korean descent, finds himself vying for control against the ruthless Director Tamura (Shun Sugata). The power struggle is fueled by the Tokyo Police's "Unit Zero," led by the cunning Inspector Sano (Sanshou Shinsui), who has secretly planted spies throughout the WRC. As tensions rise, divisions emerge within the organization and among longtime allies.
