Renigunta (2009)

Renigunta is a 2009 Indian Tamil action film written and directed by Paneerselvam. It stars Johnny, son of producer S. S. Chakravarthy, alongside newcomers. The film was a box office success. In Renigunta, a group of young men befriend Sardar, a powerful local gangster, through a man named Bunker. After a successful murder, Sardar takes them under his wing. Meanwhile, one of the boys, Sakthi, meets a mute girl (Sanusha) in the neighborhood, and they begin to fall in love. However, her brother intends to force her into prostitution. Pitying Sakthi, his friends agree to help him and the girl elope, but only after carrying out a murder for Sardar.
