Description:
"Emoh Ruo" is a sharp satire about a young married couple navigating the challenges of buying their first home. The film targets the predatory practices of financial institutions, builders, salespeople, and advertisers who prey on eager couples seeking property in Australia. It follows the Tunkley family: Terry, who cleans houses and dreams of owning one, and her husband Des, who is happy living in a caravan. When Terry sees an ad for a budget home called 'The Buckingham,' she's instantly captivated. Persuading Des to sell his boat for a deposit, they move to the suburbs for a fresh start. However, their dream quickly begins to unravel.
