Description:
Sixteen-year-old Otelo Buthelezi, along with his best friend New Year and younger brother Ntwe, are invited to the beach house of their new friend, Tau Modise, and find themselves in a world unlike anything they've known. It's the complete opposite of their township, a place increasingly threatened by political violence between Inkatha hostel residents and United Democratic Front members. It quickly becomes clear that Otelo possesses a remarkable talent for swimming, hinting at a destiny he has yet to discover.
