Molly (2023)

In 2030, rapid advancements in science and technology have created a fast-paced society marked by intense competition and strained connections. Molly (Chen Sinuo) is an unusual 11-year-old girl with a deep love for plants and a vivid imagination. However, she struggles with shyness and making friends. Guided by her botanist father (Wang Qianyuan), Molly begins imagining people as animals to help bridge communication gaps. But when her father unexpectedly disappears, the family's harmony is shattered. A year later, her mother (Jiang Qinqin) is on the verge of giving up hope. Molly, convinced her father is still alive, teams up with her clumsy robot companion, Aru, to search for him, facing life’s challenges along the way.
