The Scent of Sin (2024)

Peyara is trapped in a marriage arranged by her uncle for financial gain. She's disheartened to discover her husband is a coffin maker and distances herself from him, claiming she's repulsed by his sweat. Aynal Munshi, sexually frustrated, becomes enraged. The elderly husband then forces himself upon her, repeatedly raping her. Peyara descends into madness from the repeated assaults and plots revenge. Aynal Munshi is later poisoned by Peyara and becomes delirious from datura poisoning, tormented by the smell of decay. Meanwhile, Peyara's former lover, Hashem, arrives as the new carpenter at Munshi's factory.
