Description:

Italian mountaineer Carel aims to be the first to summit the Matterhorn. Recognizing the climb's extreme difficulty, he partners with British mountaineer Whymper. However, a change of plans separates them, and they both attempt the ascent on the same day, each with their own team. The attempt ends tragically.
