This fifth installment of the acclaimed gay short film series, Male Shorts: International V5, presents four original stories from men around the world. In Rio de Janeiro during the pandemic, "Iceberg" explores two men troubled by a shared, unsettling presence in their plumbing. "Xavier" depicts a young man who uses his phone to simultaneously come out to the world, his father, and his crush. "Dreams" follows a documentary filmmaker who uses his camera to try and capture his nighttime visions. Finally, "It's Just Another Day" centers on Gabriele, struggling to choose between caring for his ailing father or escaping to Rome with the man he loves. The four short films are: Dreams [Sonhos] (2022); It's Just Another Day [È solo un altro giorno] (2022); Xavier and Miguel [Xavier e Miguel] (2022); Iceberg (2022).
