Description:
Marie Skinner, a gold-digging woman with a penchant for chewing gum and a wild hairstyle, plots with her jazz-loving lover, Babe Winsor, to swindle William Judson, a wealthy real estate developer. Marie moves into Judson's building and deliberately engineers a meeting, using charm, flattery, and seductive gestures to win him over. When Judson's wife discovers him with Marie at a nightclub, she is heartbroken and confronts him, leading to a separation. Babe encourages Marie to pressure Judson into buying worthless bonds. Will Judson's wife take drastic measures? Will Marie's sister retaliate? Will Judson realize he's been deceived?
