Description:
On Sado Island, Kii works cleaning at a gold mine. She discovers an unconscious woman in the facility and brings her home. The woman has no memory of her past or identity, and Kii's housemates name her Midori. Kii secures permission from the mine director for Midori to work as a cleaner. Midori becomes fascinated by cats and meets Ao, the night guard. Ao reveals he also has no memory of his past. Midori and Ao develop feelings for each other and spend time together. However, Midori's connection with Murasaki, who appears close to Ao, creates unease.
