Silentium (2025)

The film unfolds during a sweltering early summer. Malek, a solitary woman living alone in a seaside building, is often teased by her friends Khaled and Azza for her unusual interests: Roman mosaics and observing her enigmatic neighbors. This is the life she has chosen. However, nightly violent sounds from behind her neighbors' door trigger intense distress and buried memories. Malek becomes convinced a menacing presence resides in the building, leaving messages and entering her apartment while she’s away. The arrival of Jihène, a friendly new tenant, coincides with the monster’s direct intrusion into Malek’s life.
