Description:
During a school trip to Scotland, twelve-year-old Charlotte Palfy and Louise Kröger discover they are twins separated at birth. Charlotte, confident and modern, is the daughter of a music hall composer, favoring techno and bold style. Louise, raised by her advertising executive mother, is more reserved and traditional, but organized and careful. Hoping to influence their destiny, the girls switch places – Louise becomes "Charlie" and travels to Berlin-Kreuzberg to live with her father, while Charlotte goes as Louise to Hamburg to be with her mother. They soon find that reuniting their parents is more complicated than they imagined.
