Mediated: The 21st Century Lifestyle (2007)

"Mediated," a 54-minute film by Todd Raviotta, explores the mind of America in the early 2000s through the story of Phillip, a media-obsessed recluse who finds more connection with his television than with his neighbors. The final script was written following the media coverage of 9/11/01. Production began on February 14, 2002, and continued through 2005 for post-production, VFX, and sound editing. The film premiered in Richmond, Virginia in December 2005 and was screened again in March and May of 2007.
