Dragon Hidden in a Mysterious Hole (2023)

Directed by Guo Yulong and starring Zhu Zixiao, this suspenseful detective film follows the investigation into a case that began when a "ghost ship" arrived in Hong Kong. The boss wants the case closed as a "Water Bandit Rebellion" to protect someone, but Di Renjie suspects something is amiss. With a grand ceremony approaching and Chang'an in turmoil, the empress tasks Shen Ming, head of the Dali Temple, with solving the case within three days, putting pressure on Di Renjie. Leng Jiyue, chief of the water supervision department, joins the investigation and encounters an old acquaintance, Duan Yan, on the ship. Together, they seek information at Chang'an Intelligence Center's "Xiacheng." Their search leads them to a hidden location: the Cloud Cave.
