Kira lives a seemingly happy life, but she's not truly free. In a world where machines have evolved beyond humanity, humans are now kept as pets by robots. Kira belongs to Antonett and Esben, and she's never known anything else. Their acquisition of a second human, Leo, changes everything. Leo is different; he remembers the past, understands evolution, and knows that free humans still exist. He begins to show Kira that her life doesn't have to be this way. But will she risk everything to embrace a different future? Will she choose freedom over the life she knows?
