The Curtain will Rise Again (2001)

Chinese cinematographer Kai travels to Edinburgh for a project, but the pandemic disrupts everything, leaving him disconnected from his team. Intrigued by the city’s atmosphere, he chooses to stay and begins filming according to the director's vision. He soon becomes convinced he is being followed and attempts to evade his pursuer, eventually spotting the director unexpectedly on the street.
