Monster of The Deep (2023)

Haunted by the loss of his wife in a shipwreck, Zhang Yang, a lifelong sailor, had vowed never to return to the sea. But for his daughter's twelfth birthday, he relents to his best friend and joins a smuggling voyage, finding himself on a ship that feels like a prison. Simultaneously, a catastrophic accident occurs when a previously unknown deep-sea creature escapes from the ship's laboratory. Possessing the genes of a natural predator, the passengers are forced into a desperate fight for survival.
