Description:
Coach George Copper's college football team suffers repeated losses, upsetting the school's respected alumni leader, Roger Jessup. At home, Coach Copper also struggles with his eldest daughter, Connie. His efforts to win the crucial final game against their biggest rival fail, putting his job at risk. Unbeknownst to Coach Copper and his wife, Elizabeth, Connie has secretly sold a personal article to a magazine, making her unexpectedly popular. This leads the star football player from a rival town to choose Coach Copper's team. Jessup is then compelled to retain Copper as the team's coach.
