Description:
In Iran, Mojtaba, Hamzeh, and Zar, along with others, have endured imprisonment and ideological interrogation. This documentary asks them to conduct an interrogation of the filmmaker, mirroring the tactics of agents within the Islamic Republic. The director aims to force a confrontation with the reality of torture, hoping the actual perpetrators in Iran will recognize themselves in the film. By simulating the perspective of a torturer, the filmmakers are challenged to confront their own boundaries and the complex implications of their project.
