After the Harvest (2001)

Caleb Gare (Sam Shepard) is a farmer determined to expand his land and dominate his family. His control is challenged when a captivating new teacher arrives at the Gare home, sparking a conflict between them. Adding to the tension, a hidden secret belonging to Caleb's wife threatens to be revealed. As the family nears collapse, they must work together to gather the harvest and then celebrate at the town festival. However, Caleb is unaware that this one night of celebration will lead to disaster, upheaval, and irrevocably alter their lives.
