Description:
This film was produced with support from the Kitakyushu City Board of Education and Council for the Promotion of Outcast Issue Awareness. It centers on two second-year junior high school girls who find an elderly woman collapsed outside her house in the countryside. After helping her, they learn she is illiterate and shares a difficult life story. Deeply moved, the girls commit to spending their time each day teaching the woman how to read and write.
