Behind the Mirror (2007)

Aniket, a middle-class executive, lives in Pune with his wife and son. Each day, he travels to Mumbai by train. Following riots, Aniket takes his son Anirudh to his grandmother's home in Shekhawati, a desert town. Anirudh is captivated by the traditional paintings that adorn the houses and palaces. His grandmother warmly welcomes him. He discovers a fascinating world unlike anything he knows and grows very fond of her. She gifts him the painting box of her late husband, a renowned artist who created many of the town's most beautiful works.
