In Poix de Picardie, a village in the Somme, retired teacher Bernard and his nurse's aide wife Violette are a well-known couple who enjoy swinging and host intimate gatherings. Cathy, a single journalist from Lyon, navigates fleeting relationships while longing for a family. Salesman Julien and his housewife wife Sophie admit to each other that they are unfaithful. Meanwhile, Daniel and Karine, residents of a home for the paralyzed run by the Association des Paralysés de France, maintain a sex life on par with typical couples.
