Description:
Postwar Japan. Two sisters, a script girl at a film studio and a revue dancer, get involved in the rising labor movement as workers strike for better conditions. Their conservative father opposes their activism, but when he's laid off, he's forced to face the realities of class struggle and joins them in their fight for a fairer future. Produced by Toho to encourage unionization during the Allied Occupation, *Those Who Make Tomorrow* was thought to be lost for many years.
