Jasper (2022)

Mr. J, a reclusive, aging, and often intoxicated man, finds his solitary life disrupted by the arrival of Harish, a young bank manager, and his family as new neighbors. When Harish is kidnapped by Vincent's group, his wife seeks help from Jasper. Mr. J unexpectedly sets out on a journey with Harish's son to rescue him from Pastor Edward, an old adversary. He gathers support from former acquaintances along the way, revealing glimpses of his past and his connections to Seema, Harish, and Edward. Meanwhile, police officer Shankar Sharma investigates the history of Mr. J, Pastor Edward, and the true motive behind the kidnapping. The ensuing adventure reveals whether Mr. J succeeds in saving Harish, the nature of his ties to Harish and his family, and if Shankar Sharma solves the case.
