Catching Giants: Zambezi Shark (2010)

Far off the southern tip of Africa, in the cold Breede River, strange reports emerge of a large creature. Fishermen are losing fish, but with a disturbing detail: only the bodies are taken, the heads left behind. A photograph of a kob with its body severed reveals the work of something immense. Marine ecologist Andy Coetzee teams up with shark hunter Hennie Papenfuss to uncover the truth about the creature. Their investigation takes them on a coastal journey from north to south, following both scientific evidence and local legends, and examining the sharks that are drawn to the unusual fish disappearances.
