Necrobusiness (2008)

Following a Polish government initiative to provide burial funds to citizens' families, undertakers in Lodz devised a scheme to exploit the system. By bribing ambulance drivers for information about the deceased's relatives, they would then pressure those families into signing over the funds with contracts presented during their time of grief. The plan relied on the relatives' emotional state preventing them from carefully reviewing the paperwork. However, the ambulance drivers soon realized they could profit further by encouraging more deaths.
