Water Colours (2003)

Herb takes viewers on a surfing journey, capturing the experience through his camera lens. His adventure begins at California's Rincon, where he films Dwayne DeSoto and Zack Howard surfing from unique perspectives. This winter, Herb documents the epic surf on the North Shore, filming Bonga, Joel, Dino, Kanoa, and new surfers tackling Pipeline in varied conditions. He admits to occasionally pausing to surf himself, enjoying the experience. Later, Herb connects with Devon Howard and others at Haleiwa, before heading to Waimea to film massive paddle-in waves.
