The film's title, "FoQUE!iu! Fala que eh nois!", is a Brazilian adaptation of an English phrase, used to celebrate the skill of Brazilian surfers and reflect the film's visuals. "Fala que é Nós!" emphasizes the Brazilian origin of this talent. Continuing a focus on the best of the new generation of Brazilian athletes, this year features Marcos Sifu, an aerial specialist, perfecting a new maneuver: the Kerrupt Flip. Invented by surfer Josh Kerr, the trick is rarely seen. Sifu is the first Brazilian to successfully perform it and received high praise from international surfers, including its creator, who called it "the most perfect Kerrupt flip I've ever seen!"
