Family Bonds (2014)

Ryuzaki (Ryudo Uzaki), a retired baseball pitcher from Yokohama, left the city after being disgraced in a game-fixing scandal tied to the yakuza. Fifteen years later, he returns when his estranged daughter and grandson are murdered – both shot while witnessing a hit. Driven by grief and rage, Ryuuzaki seeks revenge. He finds guidance and firearms training from Saigami (Hitoshi Ozawa), a former yakuza. As Ryuuzaki prepares for violence, a flicker of purpose returns to him. This is a somber story about vengeance, isolation, and loss, centered on the quiet intensity of Ryudo Uzaki.
