Description:
Justice Balwant Khanna enjoys a privileged life with his wife Devika and their two sons, Sanjay and Jai, having hoped they would marry within their social standing. When Sanjay marries an orphan named Rashmi, Balwant reluctantly accepts her but cautions Jai against similar unions. This is followed by the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor, seeking to arrange a marriage between their daughter and Sanjay. The situation becomes complicated when the Kapoors declare Rashmi to be their own daughter. While Devika readily embraces Rashmi, Balwant is slower to accept her. Subsequently, Jai announces his marriage to Neha, daughter of Gopal Das. Shortly after, Rashmi invites her friend Riya and Riya's husband Ajay to live with them as guests.
