Bandırma Füze Kulübü (2022)

In the 1950s, as the world became captivated by the space race between the United States and the Soviet Union, a group of high school students in Bandırma found themselves inspired to reach for the stars. Despite having no government backing or funding, they formed the "Bandırma Rocket Club" with a bold goal: to launch their own rocket into space. The club's ambition arose from the excitement surrounding Sputnik, the first artificial satellite to orbit the Earth.
