Gedobo (2011)

Gedobo (Hitoshi Ozawa) is a wandering monk who has strayed from the Buddha's path and sees only darkness in the world. Masuba (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi), a weary underboss, is disillusioned by a world where even his boss values money over honor. Dissatisfied with his clan's lack of integrity, he becomes increasingly frustrated. He encounters Gedobo begging on the roadside, who warns him, "Be careful. Darkness is trying to swallow you whole." In that moment, Masuba's life takes an unexpected turn.
