Fifteen years after their breakthrough indie film launched their careers, Splick and Jason are each facing personal crises as they approach forty. They haven't spoken since a falling out in the late nineties, and both are struggling with stalled careers and relationships. When Splick's latest TV show, about his character's unusual obsession with sweets, is abruptly cancelled, he's forced to return to his childhood bedroom in New York. Annoyed by constant reminders of his successful movies with Jason, Splick decides to find his former partner and try to reconnect.
