Vasermil (2007)

Vasermil follows three teenagers navigating a difficult neighborhood, each hoping for a better future through football. Shlomi supports his mother, sister, and stepfather while working as a pizza delivery boy. Adiel cares for his brother and ailing mother. Dima, a recent immigrant from Russia, lives with an unemployed father and a working mother. The three are recruited by their local football team's coach. Their ability to work together as a unit is crucial for winning the tournament, which offers a chance to be discovered by scouts from a major football organization. To succeed, they must overcome personal differences, self-doubt, and prejudice.
